§ 46-31. Definitions.

The following words, terms and phrases, when used in this article, shall have the meanings ascribed to them in this section, except where the context clearly indicates a different meaning:

Park means a park, golf course, playground, beach, recreational center or any other area in the city, owned or used by the city, and devoted to active or passive recreation.

Vehicle is any wheeled conveyance, whether motor powered, animal drawn, or self-propelled. The term shall include any trailer in town of any size, kind or description. Exception is made for baby carriages, motorized and nonmotorized devices required to allow reasonable access to parks or park facilities for persons with disabilities, and vehicles in the service of the city parks.
